Get Money for Your Organization or Cause With an Avon Online Fundraiser

Avon actually has two types of fundraisers available – online and flyers. In this post, I will be discussing online fundraisers, where shoppers can order from the entire Avon website and your organization benefits from every sale.

What kind of organizations can have fundraisers with Avon?

Any kind! It does not have to be a 501(c)(3) charity in order to hold an Avon Fundraiser. Here are some examples:

  • School groups
  • Sports teams
  • Animal rescues
  • Chambers of Commerce
  • Community events
  • Religious groups
  • Scout troops
  • Dance teams
  • Hospitals
  • Libraries
  • Police & Fire Departments
  • Class reunions
  • Family reunions
  • Private causes to help individuals or families (medical bills, disaster assistance, etc.)

How does it work?

It’s super easy! You just let me know your time frame and your financial goal. I may ask you a few questions about your needs, and together we settle on the dates for your fundraiser. It can run for two weeks up to six weeks. I recommend keeping it on the shorter side, to keep the excitement up and so people don’t lose interest.

From there I create a customized URL for you to promote on social media, through text or email – however you want to let everyone know about your fundraiser. You and your group members share, share, share! When people shop using the URL, your earnings are automatically credited to your fundraiser. I will keep you updated as sales come in, so you’ll know how much you’re earning each day.

A couple days after your fundraiser period ends, when all orders have been shipped, I will send you a check for the total amount earned.

How much can we earn?

Your group or cause earns 100% of the profits earned on every sale! That equates to 40% on all beauty and jewelry, and 25% on all fashion and home goods. This means that I earn nothing on these sales – it’s all going to your fundraiser.

Here are some scenarios that will help explain:

  • Sales of $1,000 – all beauty & jewelry: your earnings $400
  • Sales of $1,000 – all fashion & home: your earnings $250
  • Sales of $500 beauty/jewelry and $500 fashion/home: your earnings $325

What do I/we have to do?

Basically, all you need to do is promote and share your URL on your social media or through personal messaging. I will keep you updated through the process on the sales coming in, so you can generate excitement by announcing how close to your goal you’re getting. If you choose to give me access to your group’s page, I can post about products, sales, and specials available for people to check out on a daily basis too.
