Amplify Your Order Incentive: How to Earn Free Products and Bonuses

Avon has a new incentive for all Representatives! The Amplify Your Order Incentive runs from Campaign 12 to 17, 2024 (June 5 to August 27), and there are several ways to earn!

All Representatives can earn a FREE Surprise Product Bundle by placing a $200+ order in at least five of the six campaigns.

Inactive Representatives who reinstate can earn a Free Shipping Code by placing an order of $75+. (An inactive Representative is a Representative who has not placed an order in 6 to 26 campaigns.)

Leaders can earn a one-time $50 Bonus for every 10 reinstated representatives who qualify.

Here are all the details:

HOW TO EARN YOUR BUNDLE:

All Representatives: Place qualifying campaign orders at or above your minimum order size goal 5 out of the 6 campaigns during Campaigns 12-17 and earn an exclusive free product bundle, redeemable in your Campaign 18 or 19 orders.

  • Orders must be $200+ in at least 5 campaigns to qualify.
  • Minimum order size must be achieved in 5 out of the 6 campaigns. You are allowed one grace campaign to miss a qualified order and still earn reward.
  • Multiple orders within one campaign are cumulative toward that campaign’s order goal. Qualifying orders cannot be cumulative across multiple campaigns toward one campaign’s order total goal.
  • Your exclusive surprise product bundle will be redeemable in Campaign 18 or 19.
  • You can earn a maximum of one bundle.

HOW TO EARN FREE SHIPPING & BONUS:

  • For Removed/Reinstated Representatives: Place your first order of $75+ and earn a Free Shipping code to use on your next order.
  • Free Shipping code will be sent via email at the beginning of the campaign after achievement.
  • For Leaders: Earn a one-time $50 bonus for every 10 Reinstated Representatives who place a qualifying order of $75+.
  • Bonus will be paid in the campaign following the campaign you achieved as a one-time payment to your Avon Wallet. You must have an Avon Wallet account to redeem the cash bonus.

IMPORTANT GUIDELINES:

  • LEADER ELIGIBILITY FOR BONUS: (“Amplify Your Order Incentive”) is open to all authorized Avon Representatives (“Representatives”) with a leadership achievement level Promoter and above (U.S.) or Candidate (CA) who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia. All qualifying titled Promoter and above (U.S.) and Candidate and above (CA) will be rewarded a one-time $50 bonus for each New Representative bonus earned. There is no limit to the number of Representatives in their downline for whom they can earn.
  • The Representative’s account must be active and in good standing (past due no more than one campaign with a balance of less than $500.00) to qualify for the Amplify Your Order Incentive (“Incentive”) and remain in good standing through the close of Incentive, Campaign 17, 2024, or the account will be disqualified. Avon reserves the right to review and withhold rewards for past due account balances over $500, at any point in the review process.
  • All orders, including Online Store and What’s New Preview Products count toward order goals.
  • The awarded bundle is redeemed within the shipment of your C18 or C19 order. If no order is placed in C18 or C19, you will forfeit reward.
  • Qualifying Orders cannot be cumulative across multiple campaigns toward one campaign’s order total goal. Multiple orders within one campaign can be cumulative toward that campaign’s order goal alone.
  • One grace campaign is given within the Incentive timeframe for bundle award only. You must place a qualifying order in 5 out of the 6 campaigns to earn bundle award.
  • Award bundle products will be subject to change due to availability and inventory and may be substituted at equal or greater value.
  • Awards received cannot be substituted or transferred.
  • Avon reserves the right to adjust rules and regulations or cancel the Incentive at any time, at its sole discretion.
  • Avon reserves the right to audit all performance data when determining Incentive reward eligibility and reserves the right to disqualify or remove any Representative it determines has violated principles of fairness, program intent, or any violation of the Independent Sales Representative Contract or Business Policies and Procedures for Independent Sales Representatives.
  • Avon reserves the right to audit returns. Any returns processed during the Incentive period will be subtracted from the Award Sales of the campaign in which the return is processed and will affect the calculation of the award levels.
  • This program is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
  • All federal, state, and local taxes, if any, associated with acceptance of the award are Representative’s responsibility.

By participating, Representatives agree that Avon will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by Representative against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the reward (including any travel or activity related thereto) or participation in this Incentive.

How do I earn and get paid with Avon?

First off, you’ll get 25% off your own orders of $40+ of beauty products (that includes makeup, skin care, personal care, health and wellness and more) as an Avon Representative, and you’ll earn 25% commission on beauty orders of $40+ from customers.

Getting paid is simple. You’ll get most of your earnings — from your online store orders, bonuses, incentive pay-outs, account credits, etc. — paid quickly and easily through the Avon Wallet payment portal.

For orders you deliver, your commissions are based on the difference between the discounted amount you pay and the full price your customer pays you. For example, you sell a lipstick to a customer for $10.00. If your commission level is 40%, you pay Avon $6.00, plus tax, and the rest is your profit.

How often do I have to place orders?

You can order as often as you want, whenever you want! Our most successful Representatives place orders each campaign (every two weeks), as well as share their online store link for 24/7 sales and commissions. To keep your account active and to stay up-to-date, we suggest placing an order in each campaign, or at the very least, once in every six campaigns.

The Power of Consistency: How It Pays Off in Direct Sales

In the world of direct sales, success isn’t like ordering pizza – it doesn’t arrive within 30 minutes or less, guaranteed. I wish!

Nope – in direct sales (or any sales profession, for that matter), to be successful requires something called consistency. You know, that thing we all try to practice at the gym and fail miserably at when it comes to dieting.

But, fear not! In this blog post, we’ll dive into the quirky world of consistent direct sales, and uncover how it’s the secret sauce to turning you into a Sales Superstar!

1. Building Trust and Credibility:
Picture this: you promised your best friend a movie night, and you actually delivered. Now she’s convinced you’re the master of movie plans. Consistency works the same way in direct sales. When you consistently deliver on your promises, your clients start to believe that you can move mountains – or at least, move products like a pro.

It seems like a no-brainer, but say what you’re going to do, and then do it! Keep your appointments, be on time, bring the sample she asked for last week. She will love you for remembering. Write it down so you don’t forget. I confess: I am very forgetful, so I use a paper planner AND put appointments in my phone so I get the reminder dings, plus I carry a little notebook to make notes of things I want to remember while visiting with my clients. Once I get home, I take care of the notes right away by adding them to my planner, ordering the samples requested, etc. It’s a lot, but it helps me stay on track. Getting old sucks!!

2. Nurturing Relationships:
Let’s be honest – relationships take work. And that’s what direct sales is all about – building and nurturing relationships. It’s like adopting a houseplant that somehow manages to be high-maintenance. Your beautiful, expensive plant is dying – you have no idea what’s wrong, so you Google it to find out how to care for it properly. (In my case, it’s usually under- or overwatering.)

But in direct sales, consistent communication is your watering can. Regular follow-up calls and emails show that you care, even if it’s not as thrilling as catching up with a friend. Your clients will appreciate your “consistent watering,” and your sales will flourish like a well-tended garden.

If you’re an introvert like me, maybe you hate making phone calls. I get it! I despise it, and have to work myself up to even call my clients who don’t use text or email to schedule deliveries. So, obviously, I am not a phone-call follow-up person.

However, I do consistently mail brochures to my clients, and I consistently post special deals and coupon codes on social media. When there is a special on something I happen to know one of my clients loves, I will text or email her with that information – it depends on her preferred method of communication.

3. Long-Term Business Growth:
You know what’s not consistent? The weather (unless you’re lucky enough to live in San Diego). You know what is? Consistent sales efforts. While a spontaneous burst of activity might make you feel like a superstar for a day, it’s the day-in and day-out grind that creates the real success story.

Remember the story of the Tortoise and the Hare? That tortoise had the right idea, just plodding along doing his thing, while that crazy hare had a case of the zoomies and then thought he had it made, so he took a long nap while the tortoise passed him by and won the race.

4. Brand Recognition and Recall:
Ever walked into a room and forgotten why you’re there? That’s not the kind of forgetfulness you want in direct sales. Consistency in branding is like putting sticky notes all over your customer’s brain. They won’t forget you, even if they try. Plus, it’s more effective than leaving post-it notes on their front door.

To stay top of mind, make sure everyone knows who you are and what you do (without being obnoxious, of course). Your social media profiles should include your title, your company, and a link to your online store. Wear your products (if applicable) so you can sprinkle them into conversations when you get compliments on them. Put a decal in your car’s back window (but keep in mind that this may change your insurance rates). If your company has brochures, leave them everywhere you go – waiting rooms, bus stops, diner foyers, etc.). Post your business cards on local bulletin boards.

The recognition and recall will stick. When someone posts in a Facebook group that they are looking for a Tupperware or Thirty-One or Avon consultant, others will respond with YOUR name and tag you because they associate that with you. Voila! New client.

5. Adaptation and Improvement:
Remember that time you tried to impress your cat with a fancy trick, and she just stared at you like you’d lost your marbles? Well, direct sales can be a bit like that – you need to adapt to what works.

For example, if you’re looking to gain clients in the 65+ age group, doing silly TikTok videos is probably not going to work (but it may get you younger clients). Likewise, if you want to appeal to 20-somethings, knocking on doors is not your best bet. Think about who your target audience is, and research how they shop, what appeals to them, and where they spend their money. Then, adapt your strategy to fit those parameters.

Consistently evaluating your market and your tactics, and changing things up when needed is like mastering the art of pet psychology – minus the bewildered stares.

6. Overcoming Challenges:
Life throws us curveballs, and direct sales does too. But if consistency were a superhero, it would wear a cape labeled “resilience.” Consistently showing up, even when things get tough, is like telling challenges, “Hey, I’ve got my game face on. Bring it!” So, don’t be surprised if challenges end up retreating faster than my Chihuahua at bath time.

Direct sales is kind of like a roller coaster ride – exhilarating, exciting, ups, downs, and a few stomach-flipping moments. But with consistency as your seat belt, you’re in for an overall smooth ride that leads to YOUR success.

You’re In Business!

Congratulations! You have made the right choice with Avon, the company that has been empowering women (and a few good men) since 1886! How many direct sales companies can say that? (Here’s a hint: ONE.) There’s a reason why a company has been around for that long, and that reason is SUCCESS! And now, you have the opportunity to share in that success.

First things first!

  • The first thing you should do is edit your online store. Just log in to avon.com with your new account number and the password you selected. Click on your online store at the top of the page and hit Edit. You can then upload a photo of yourself and add a brief bio. Customers like to shop with a real person, so your photo is key! You can also add personal videos and product photos to your online store.
  • Then, complete your profile information on Avon.com. To find it, click where it says “Hi, YOURNAME” at the top of the page and go down to My Profile.
  • Now, start sharing your online store URL with your friends and family! Click on My Store at the top of your home page. Above your name and picture is a Share button. It’s that easy to get the online side of your business up and running – and it takes less than five minutes!

Once you’ve completed the first few courses, make it a point to do a course or two every day to continue learning about your business – there are literally hundreds of courses on Avon U, and most can be done in ten minutes or less. This is the best way to learn and build on your knowledge base. You’ll be an expert in no time!

Be aware of the rules!

It is very important that you take the time to read the Business Policies and Procedures document, which can be found under Manage Business > Seller Central > Documents and Resources.

You will want to familiarize yourself with Avon’s policies so you don’t accidentally violate any of them.

The Nitty-Gritty: How Avon works

There are two ways to sell Avon: traditional and online.

Ding Dong! Avon Calling!

With the traditional way, you pass out brochures during each two-week campaign. When your customers place their orders, you collect the money from them up front, order the products on avonnow.com (along with any demos, samples, bags, brochures for the next campaign, etc., that you need), and pay the wholesale cost. When the order comes in, you bag the orders and deliver to your customers. Your pay is the difference between what your customers paid you and what you pay Avon for the items (retail price minus wholesale cost).

Online selling

With the online method, you simply share your custom URL via text, email, and social media. Your Avon online store website is FREE (many other direct sales companies charge a monthly fee for this). When your customers shop online with you, they pay for their order through the website, Avon ships the order directly to them, and Avon pays your commission through your Avon Wallet (see the Avon U training on Avon Wallet). You choose where you want your money to go from the Wallet – i.e., checking or savings account, Venmo, or PayPal. You can set it up for automatic transfers or manual transfers. I have mine automatically deposited into the checking account I use for my business so I don’t even have to think about it once I have it set up. Please note that you MUST sign up for the Avon Wallet to receive your online sales commissions (and leadership earnings if you choose to go into leadership).

When customers order $60 or more, they get free shipping, and some of that shipping charge will be charged to your account. This is usually $8.00 but can be more on larger orders.

Online selling has its benefits:

1. Avon currently prints 3.5 million brochures every two weeks, and all of that paper ends up in landfills. Online is much more environmentally friendly.

2. You don’t have to worry about collecting money, driving all over town delivering orders, trying to schedule convenient delivery times, etc.

3. Your commission lands in your Avon Wallet immediately!

But, it’s entirely up to you. Whether you choose to sell in person, online, or a combination of both, you will earn money!

Placing your order

When taking customers’ orders, be sure to collect their payment up front. Just say, “How did you want to pay for that today?” If they balk, remind them that no other company lets you pay after your items are received. This is important, because you will need to pay for your order online with your own credit or debit card when you place it.

Orders are placed every two weeks (or more often – the choice is up to you). Each campaign runs from a Wednesday to 11:59 p.m. on a Tuesday. A campaign schedule is attached to this email. You may place your order on the day of your choosing within the two-week period, but I would advise you NOT to wait until the last day, in case of unforeseen circumstances like the website going down or popular products being sold out. Note that you will be charged a shipping fee for each order that you place during a campaign.

As you get customers, add them to the Address Book section in your Web Office. Customers must have a valid phone number or e-mail address in order to be added to the Address Book.

To enter customers’ orders, go to “Shop by Product” on the Home Page, choose your customer’s name from the drop-down list, and enter her items. This way, you will be able to create invoices for individual customers through the Web Office. When ordering your sales tools, demos, and personal items, choose the customer name that is YOUR NAME in all caps in the drop-down list.

Keep your store open at all times with brochures!

To invest in your business, you will need to purchase your most important business tool every campaign – your brochures! After all, that is YOUR STORE! Keep in mind that you need to order brochures for two campaigns ahead of the one you are in (i.e., when placing your Campaign 6 order, you will order brochures for Campaign 8). Look at the attached Campaign Calendar to see what campaign we are currently in, and order brochures for the second one after that in your first order. That way you’ll always be ahead of the game.

Brochures are ordered in packs of 10 – not individually.

If you want 20 brochures, you would enter the number 2 on the order screen. Keep in mind that the more packs you order, the cheaper they are! And the more brochures you put into the hands of people, the more customers you will get!

You should also purchase some “popcorn bags” (paper bags) in different sizes for packaging up your orders. There are also the nicer shopping bags with handles, which are good for higher-end and heavier items. These are all found in the Sales Tools section of the order page.

In any campaign, you can order demos from the next two campaigns’ What’s New flyers. Selected samples are also available for purchase. Representatives can purchase up to ten of each product from What’s New unless specified.

The Body Shop at Home Closes USA Direct Sales

The Body Shop at Home is ending its USA direct-selling operations after just two and a half years.

This is so sad, and I feel bad for all of the consultants who joined this company with high hopes, and are now left with nothing and having to start over.

Two years ago, a large number of Avon Representatives left the company to join The Body Shop at Home. Many of them had successful Avon businesses, and some were even top sellers with the company who consistently earned vacation trips and had huge teams with high leadership earnings. At the time, I wondered why they would walk away from such lucrative careers for an unknown opportunity. When they left Avon, not only did they leave their customers hanging, but they also lost their downlines. Their entire teams.

It’s heartbreaking.

This, of course, can happen at any time with any company. Nothing in life is guaranteed, as we know.

BUT, given the choice of a company that’s been around for 137 years and was the first one to empower women in direct sales positions, versus a startup with no verifiable history in direct sales, it just seems like a no-brainer to me.

My loyalty remains with my team, and with my company, Avon, and will for the foreseeable future. I have worked hard over the last six years to build my customer base and my team of awesome Representatives.
